I get your point about the cult, but I don’t see evidence of a Republican Party. Just the Trump party and a bunch of former Republicans out there who are either willing to ride it out or are just floating without a party. The latter won’t defect to the Democrats, but they can’t reconcile their values with Trump’s enough to vote for him. It’s a tough spot to be in. I don’t envy them come November.
