The hotel rooms 206-200, 224-218 are listed that way because as you walk down the hallway that’s the order that you will encounter them.

Yes that seems to be ordered a bit backwards.

And it didn't made you wonder when the house numbers in a street were ordered even numbers on one side and odd numbers onto the other side? And then you see a street where a house number 2 a is beside house number 3. O.O

Also, imagine if you pick numbers 225, 226, or 227 between any of the arrangement numbers.

What bothers me more is the rooms between 233 and 250 are missing.
And the difference between 224 and 250 is not 22 like it is with 206 and 228.
