How are all those anti-mask sheeple protests starting to look? | "MY BODY, MY CHOICE?" YOU KNOW MASKING UP IS MAINLY ABOUT PROTECTING OTHERS, RIGHT? | image tagged in anti mask protester,covid-19,coronavirus,covid19,face mask, sheeple | made w/ Imgflip meme maker
Not to mention armed intimidation protests against any and all Covid restrictions, and then not masking up when the country started to re-open.

Too long to put that all in the title.

tl;dr they deserve every pixel of this meme at this point.

Nice notice about that sign. The Netherlands is now trying to allow cities to obligate wearing masks, but the statement on that sign, appears to be in line with the Dutch constitution, and jurists even think that judges may based on that not allow a certain obligation. And some juridical analysts claim that the Dutch constitution is very extremely solid on this point. I never knew that (and I've always been well-informed about law and order in general, so I feel ashamed that I didn't know that), and I was actually amazed by it. It does suddenly put the text on that sign to a different light, and apparently not as odd as it may seem at first.

It is clear that the face mask discussion alone is already a political point in the corona debate, no matter if you support the masks or oppose the them. And if you sometimes seem the heath of the discussion of the face masks alone from both those who believe in them and those who don't.... Even discussions about the wall on the Mexican border weren't that hot, I tell ya!

They only change their POV after they are affected personally.

True but the ones that do, ever, suddenly have something effect them: find out they have a Gay kid....suddenly support LGBTQ, find out they or someone they love has a Severe illness....suddenly support universal healthcare, Out of a job....suddenly support unemployment or welfare or foodstamps, They get COVID.... suddenly it's NOT A HOAX.

These people are awful and have no empathy UNTIL IT SUITS THEM.

All the gun toting 2A jack offs have been waiting to rise up against a tyrannical government....but haven't. Why? Because the tyrannical government doesn't effect them. Yet.

Well, no matter how you put it, corona has become political. And not only in the U.S.A., but actually all over the globe. The conspiracy theory of the virus being a hoax, or the virus being made by China, is just ONE of the many reasons why it is...

And now that people are more and more getting fed up with lockdown measures, we can see politicians a bit in a panic. Especially since there's still a large group still supportive of the measures. Well then you see it coming, that this is very good ways fora politician to make a nice profile already. On how well you as a politician are dealing with the virus... Either for or against a lockdown or any other measures, politicians do rise or go down in polls after they say something about the virus or more importantly the measures that should or should not be taken....

Yup... no matter where you stand in this issue... It has become political...
