Oh, he's literally never commented on anything. It's an advertising scam; he plugs his website and doesn't even look at anything we say. Another user the mods would be well within their rights to sanction but they never do.

I joined with my first account here in June 2016. I logged on this site via the Ghetto Jesus template I had once found on the web. I made memes for posting on two forums I was active in. Sometimes people here commented, but I couldn't find a posting code for meme replies (this being when you couldn't post meme comments the regular way till you hit 1000 pts).

Mid November 2016 I accidentally bumped into the Front Page. Oh wow, a forum? That's when I became active with commenting on this site.

I know people from my old sites as well as FB that make memes here but do not participate in discussions.

That the OP does not reply is fair indication that the OP does not wish to engage anyone here.
That the memes sound like ads or promos, plus the useraname indicate that the use is for offsite.

But why submit, though? Why not just generate it, save it, and use wherever you wanted?

Because the site TOS states that unsubmitted meme creations may be deleted after some time.
And what better place to store and access them then at the site you make them at?

Google drive? Local folders?

Which are more of a hassle - and less aesthetically pleasing - to look through.

I tried with Keep Notes, and all I got was a jumbled mess of memory eating reduncies that take some searching through when all I have to do here is scroll through with ease to find what I need.
