I think that's pretty much the SOP for any current administration. How quickly both sides forget.
In this case, the Obama DOJ did implement a number of policies that seem, in retrospect, to be quite problematic. Riots notwithstanding, another example is when they instituted a program coddling troubled students, so that they aren't held accountable for dangerous behavior. That can only result in more dangerous behavior down the road, when there are no consequences.
