The COVID outbreaks could go against obeying authority. (I Peter 2:13)
The Bible actually calls Homosexuality a sin (I Timothy 1:8-11 lists various sins forgiven by Christ’s Blood and deliberate sins can cancel Christ’s Sacrifice Hebrews 10:26)
Sex abuse cases are indeed hypocritical.
Slavery was not considered a sin during Biblical times although I believe it’s wrong.

Slavery not a sin in biblical times? Then why did God have to send ten plagues against Egypt? Weren't the Israelites slaves in Egypt?

The Bible taught about the proper way to treat slaves in the Old Testament. God sent the ten plagues because the Israelites were His people and wouldn’t let them go.

Because that God was Yahweh, and the Hebrews were His people.

Also, there are questions as to this slavery of them in Egypt thing, as in no historical evidence.
