Wonder how long they can go without opening their borders, and then after that how long before they get another "outbreak" (about 2-3 weeks after they open would be a likely guess). Interestingly, the U.S. would have closed borders had it not been for calls of 'racism' and 'xenophobia' from the left.

But even if that had happened, it's just delaying the inevitable. One cannot "beat" a virus. You can gain herd immunity. You can cut your population off from the world (maybe in a small country and only for a while). But once it's in the wild, everyone is going to get it eventually...like other corona viruses, it's here to stay.

This says they had a new case on the 30th which is 31st in u.S.

You must remember they are isolated and only have a small population under 3.5 million for whole country. They shut everything down very early including no shop visits if I recall correctly, very severe restrictions. And yet very similar results can be seen in Australia also without complete shutdown. That is to say 3 week plus gaps without new infections and most all new cases as foreign arrivals.
Australia had not had a complete lockdown anywhere at anytime until a few weeks ago in 1 state and this outbreak is hardly massive despite the hype and located in an area with 25000 people residing otherwise the rest of the state can go about their life. I think the population for the particular state is on 6 million and there have had less than 150 deaths.
On top of all of this there is no compulsory mask wearing and all video I have seen people are mostly not doing it voluntarily. They were also informed with scientific basis that masks will increase infection not decrease and have practised social distancing.
So what NZ did is shut it all down no leaving your house and had isolation by geography and low population with demographic spread well over the land mass i.e smaller cities, more rural, on their side. Shutting borders of course for me not to forget.

Yes well there's definitely something missing from the whole picture in the U.S statistics. I cant see how we have done anything so dramatically different or worse than dozens of other countries and yet all the metrics seem to be exploded upwards in comparison. I realise they are calling every flu pneumonia death as well as some other illness as covid. Not to mention that a positive result is also recorded if you have any corona virus in your system, so common cold etc is a covid case on paper.

The fact that the protest/riots are supposedly not spreading the virus but a church service will is extraordinary.
I wonder how stupid you have to be to believe that the virus is deadly, but that 1000's of people standing in close proximity protesting, running around and generally losing some form of bodily fluid will not spread a virus. It's either deadly and spread by close contact or it isn't. It doesn't have a brain to discern between situations it just takes hold where situations exist for it to take over living cells.
The reality is, it isn't as deadly as the hype suggests. People all over here come on talking about other countries and what they did that we didn't do. When it appears there is in fact no definite way to tackle the virus except maybe the social distancing. Which seems to be a universally good method for reducing spread, masks are clearly not an answer as they are just as likely or in fact more likely to spread the disease. And keeping the known vulnerable afar from potential harm is also really under social distancing. Other than taking the precaution of distancing the virus needs to run it's course. Which fortunately it seems to be doing over the last 2 months but the media insists otherwise.

Well there are studies that show all viruses can be beaten with mega doses of vitamins. So giving away free vitamins would go a long way.

Yeah I have seen this kind of study. I think it's more on the boost to the immune system that the vitamins give rather than their ability to kill it. Various countries around the world have been supplying their doctors and nurses with vitamins to help reduce their infection rates. Definitely something everyone could do to help themselves.
