"Borders remain closed" is really the most interesting part of that article. Wonder how long they can go without opening their borders, and then after that how long before they get another "outbreak" (about 2-3 weeks after they open would be a likely guess). Interestingly, the U.S. would have closed borders had it not been for calls of 'racism' and 'xenophobia' from the left.
But even if that had happened, it's just delaying the inevitable. One cannot "beat" a virus. You can gain herd immunity. You can cut your population off from the world (maybe in a small country and only for a while). But once it's in the wild, everyone is going to get it eventually...like other corona viruses, it's here to stay.
