Yeah... I am talking most of all of celebs who died in 2016, and a lot of jokes were made about that. The people who died were actually people who were very well known though, like David Bowie, and Prince to name two... So that's why 2016 was a year that stood out.
I shall not deny I am most of all opposed to Trump as a president, but actually whenever somebody mentions 2016 as a disastrous year I am not thinking about Trump. Maybe that's because I live in Europe and Trump lit a fire under the political leaders in Europe causing them to do a few things they should have done, say 20 years ago... That guy did something good for us here... Unintentionally, but still...
But actually I always forget years that presidents are elected... since that's always leap years I can at least calculate, and so my calculations tell me that Obama was first elected in 2008 and that Bush jr. was in 2000, and Clinton in 1992 and Bush sr. 1988 and Reagan in 1980... And that should make Carter in 1976, I suppose. But that is merely by calculation (and remembering that both Carter and Bush sr. only served one term in stead of two) that I can come up with those years (without using Wikipedia or similar site)... to be honest.
But after hearing approx 2016 jokes about celeb dying in 2016, it's hard to forget that year....At least it was for me....
