Step 3. When trump does something, call everyone peaceful protesters.
Step 4. When the cops do whats necessary, claim brutality against peaceful protesters
Step 5. Blame Trump for sending in the feds

1. They sent the national guard to protect the statues and they were attacked and the criminals avoided arrest.
2. They then sent the police and the police were ambushed and the criminals avoided arrest.
3. Now they send unmarked vans and now they catch the protesters, and suddenly this is too much for you.

Cant help but think there's an absolutely, painfully obvious solution to all of this -- like I don't know... Don't riot and loot for a month straight and the cops won't show up... and then don't resist the arrest from the uniformed cops and the undercover ones wont show up instead..

There have been riots almost every night. "Peaceful Protesters" is just gaslighting by Leftists.

Hard data from June has shown that the majority of the protests are peaceful. And out of all of the ones that are not peaceful, just think about how many of them were started by police harassing and teargassing originally peaceful protesters.

I find it curious that Leftists defend peaceful protests, which is fine, but are completely silent about the rioting, burning and removal of statuary. Is that because you secretly agree with them or you just don't want to be bothered when other people's neighborhoods get destroyed?

Huh...why are you straw manning me? I never said I agree with rioting with looting, just that it's incredibly rare. I also said that a portion, not all, of the violent protesters were actually caused by the police. Most of the rioting and looting happened in the first week or two of the protests, and even then, most of them were still peaceful. What I do have a problem is when people like you characterize most of the protests as violent when that is demonstrably not the case, and use that false characterization to justify police brutality and misconduct.

I already answered your question. Are you blind? I literally said, I never said I agree with rioting and looting, meaning that I condemn them. You said that I secretly agree with the rioters and looters even though I never said that, which is a strawman.

Look up what a strawman argument is. I was asking, and you finally answered. Good for you. So if you're going to defend peaceful protesting, you should also make it clear you abhor the rioting because it's painting the protesting in a bad light.

I think when I have a conversation about protestors, it's a given that I condemn rioting and looting. I mean I have no problem making a disclaimer, but I'm highly confident that 99.9% of the left condemns rioting and looting. On your part, I think you should stop implying that most of the protests are tainted by violence when statistically, most of the protests were peaceful.

Yeah, when I talk about a communist, I mean someone who literally supports the USSR and Maoist China. And I guess there are some anarchists who might plausibly support rioting and looting as well, albeit both groups are pretty small in the left. Even then, the majority of the anarchists I see online condemn the riots and the looting. When I talked about the left, I included liberals, so if I don't include liberals, the percentage will decrease but still not by much. My point still stands that a vast majority of left leaning people if asked will condemn the rioting and the looting.
