They seem to forget that most of Western Civilization is far more Liberal than even the Left in America, and disagrees with them on virtually every issue. Taxes, gun laws, climate change, civil rights, social reform, the list goes on. [US] Conservative Ideology is antithetical to most of Western Civilization. (and Christianity for that matter). Right Wingers in Canada, Europe, Australia, etc look at American Right Wingers like they're idiots.
