My Response To People Who Flip Out When One Negative Thing Is Said About The United States

Criticism is not hate speech. Unless you criticize the left, then they'll cry hate speech.

Besides, who flips out when one negative thing is said about the United States?

Of course I can't speak for everyone who loves our country, but in my case, criticism of the US is welcome. As a country, our never ending goal should be improvement. That we need to be better has been put on full display recently. Criticism is a perfectly valid mechanism to achieve that goal.

The exception may be when the criticism comes from someone living in another country, who is not a US citizen. Not always, but sometimes. The reason for that is, they don't typically actually know what's going on here. Their information about our country is based on the media, which of course is absolutely unreliable and willing to lie 24x7 to get rid of Trump.

That's another generalization. A. There are people not from America who knows what goes on in this country B. Just because it's the media doesn't mean it's unreliable, besides that, there are people who think the media should only suit THEIR worldview and C. Not everything said about Trump is a lie. Pure bullshit. I have criticized the US at least 10 times, today. The difference is that I can also acknowledge the proven, historical fact that the US has far, far more good at home and abroad than it has done harm.

I don't see anyone risking their lives and fortunes to get into any other country more than the US.

Not everyone thinks any form of criticizing America is hate speech. Most that do don’t use the woke “hate speech“ term. So it depends on who you are talking to as to how they will react to criticism.
