lol. It means I used to use this alt account to post mind-numbingly stupid right-wing memes in the "politics" stream just to see how they would do. In many cases: pretty well!

In reality, I've been a hardcore Trump opponent since summer of 2019 (after the Ukrainegate news broke), and I'm not sure of anybody who has ever changed their mind discussing politics on ImgFlip.

Support for Trump on this site has remained pretty constant even throughout impeachment and the Covid-19 meltdown.

The sad part is it’s not their fault. Trump says that it’s all propaganda and they believe it. The reason I was asking is that I was a Trump fan a few months ago and turned leftist. So yeah, I did change.

I don't think one has to become leftist to oppose trump. What I consider to be true conservatives also oppose him, as he's not really a conservative. He's a fascist, and fascism, to me, is pre-ideological, neither left nor right, an emotional reaction rather than a philosophy.

There are some conservative issues I'm sympathetic to, like gun ownership (regulated) and limits on abortion (some) but on environmental issues I'm far, far to the "left" of the Democratic party.

Come to think of it, I want more environmental protections than communists would.
