If You Don't Want to Legalize Fraud...

Now who's fault was that? Who is in control there? Were any of those cheques cashed?

Don't miss the forest for the trees here, Sewmy. The point is that mistakes were made and mail-in voting provides yet another opportunity for fraud. Dollars to doughnuts, a lot of the checks were probably cashed. Honest people would have returned them to the Treasury Department.

Well, here's the problem, in Canada you had to apply and they went off last years tax records, and you recieved within 3-5 days. After reading about your roll out, the IRS just automatically rolled out cheques to those who filed last years taxes and there was no filter for who was diseased or not so the cheques were mailed out willy nilly according to the GOA, therefore was not a fraudulent filing from those who were diceased. I never applied for any of mine so I never recieved anything and we had federal and provincial aid. So you can't equate that with mail in fraud when it was the government that sent the cheques un checked.

You can equate it to government ineptitude that points to a risk or potential for exploitation and fraud.
