I'm sorry. I don't know what you are getting at. I am not descrying other family units, but I believe that this is a great one, too. I was reared by my mother and grandmother and I turned out okay... well, except for a mass shooting or two. Best of luck to you. I am a fan of your work. Vince Vance

There is only one race, the human race and it takes a family to make it great.

I am sorry that you think so little of yours. You have the ability to build a great one in spite of the failings of others that have influenced you.

If every generation had the goal of exceeding the one before it would a better world.

I am sorry if you feel that you are a victim, get over it.

I had the fortune of having a father that worked for the airlines, so we got around. I have lived in many places, seen and heard many things, lived and learned. There's so much you don't know about, having lived your whole life not more than two miles from where your mother shat you into this world.
You sound jealous, my boy.

Because being jealous of some pathetic leftover Hippie wannabe reject from Britain trying to pretend he's from MY America makes sense in your adorably empty noggin?

I also said I was from NY a month a go, and 6 months ago, even further back in time. That's because I am from NY, you brain-dead abortion.

You must a got tangled up in the umbilical cord and had the oxygen cut off from your brain a few minutes when your "ma" shat you out in that back alley.
Lucky for you the abortionist was too drunk to ream her c**t rid of you, sonny.

- I wasn't in England when Hendrix was on Peel, or the Cure, or Blur, or whatever you caught in your numerous travels there well into your senior years accompanying daddy so mommy won't cheat on him.

Been anyplace else, geezer?

Right, F**kFace, just like I said... you're still on the block you didn't grow up on. I bet you even have one of those whiny New Yawk accents, like a cross between Jerry Seinfeld, Eli Roth, and Bugs Bunny.

"A mother who was the poster girl for the pro-gun lobby has been accidentally shot in the back by her toddler son. Jamie Gilt, 31, was taken to hospital after the four-year-old found her loaded pistol in the back seat of her truck as she drove through Putnam County, Florida. The little boy then pointed the .45 semi-automatic handgun at his mother and pulled the trigger, firing a round through the car seat and into his mother’s back."

"A pregnant mother has been shot in the face by her 4-year-old son in the US state of Washington.

The child found a loaded unsecured gun under a mattress in the house after his father hid it there because he was afraid of a recent crime in the neighbourhood.

The mother, 27, and her partner, the boy's father, were in bed watching television when their child found the gun.

He then shot his mother unintentionally, King County Sheriff’s Office spokesman Sergeant Ryan Abbott said.

"We don't ever want to see something like this,” he added.

The mother, who is eight-months pregnant, has been taken to Harborview Medical Center with life-threatening injuries, the King County Sheriff's Office said.

Her condition has improved and she has been transferred to another hospital, according to the Washington Post.

Under a new state law gun owners could face criminal charges for not safely storing a gun.

Detectives will be looking into the case on 4 February to see if any charges should be filed, according to KOMO-TV.

It is unclear who the gun is registered to."

No one, not even Nathon, seems exactly sure why he did it.

His own description of the attack is probably the biggest insight we can hope to get.

"Before I realised that I’d done it, I’d pulled the trigger and the gun had gone off."

prove me wrong about that one :)

"vast majority of families"

yeah, i don't think i said the "vast majority". just the fact that people were able to get away with sickening shit much easier back then because mainstream media and church ministers were the most trusted people in the world.

"Making it seem as if the vast majority of families were f**ked up and evil in the 50's"

i mean... going back in the 50's would mean that crimes like pedophilia wouldn't be able to be discovered due to the lack of internet leaks and such, and the polio vaccine wouldn't exist either, so idk why anyone wants to go back.

why would you like to go back? genuinely curious

I never said I would want to go back. The only thing I like about the 50's is that morality on television was much higher and the overall love of country was higher. There weren't as many idiots burning and spitting on the flag, and patriotism was greater.

Out of curiosity, do you genuinely believe that the consensual practices other people engage in during their free time have any impact whatsoever on your life? If so, how?"

They can do whatever they want. I don't care what two consenting adults do together, as long as it's legal. Just because I don't agree with it doesn't mean I'm going to actively hunt them down and shame them.

"What is it about someone marrying the person they love or expressing the gender that they are do you feel uncomfortable about?"

God says it's a sin. I and a Christian.

I've been to an LGBTQ+ church service.

Lots of gay people are also Christians. When you say 'God says it's a sin', do you mean that men wrote down a long time ago that a man said that God had told him it was a sin?
Is that really a good reason to not accept people?

We are people, we are adaptable, we can think critically.
Do you follow absolutely everything it says in the Bible or do you use your judgement and ability to think critically to make choices about what to follow?

Belief is a choice. You are choosing to have a problem with people who are doing nothing other than being authentic to themselves and being happy.

It's funny, liberals are often accused of not thinking critically but are also statistically more likely not to be the people taking their guidance from an ancient book written for living in a different place during different times. You know that there are almost no white people in it?

Yes, there are people who consider themselves Christians. That doesn't negate the fact that God considers it a sin. I had sex outside of marriage, with multiple people. I was living in sin. Just because I did that and considered myself a Christian, doesn't mean I was free from the sin I committed.

"We are people, we are adaptable, we can think critically.

We are all sinners, so we cannot follow perfectly in compliance with the Bible, but we can do the best we can with God's help. As long as we follow Christ and do what we can to keep away from sin.

"Belief is a choice. You are choosing to have a problem with people who are doing nothing other than being authentic to themselves and being happy."

I don't have a problem with it. Like I said, whatever two consenting adults do with each other, I don't care. I know it to be a sin as God has told us, but what they do is between them and God. I'm not sure how many times I have to state this.

"It's funny, liberals are often accused of not thinking critically but are also statistically more likely not to be the people taking their guidance from an ancient book written for living in a different place during different times. You know that there are almost no white people in it?"

I understand what you're getting at at the beginning of that paragraph, but you kind of lost me on the last part. Yes, the Bible is an old book. It was written by many different men based on what God told them to write. The author of the Bible is ultimately God Himself, written through man.

As for there not being a lot of white people in it, I'm not understanding what the purpose of that statement was. Are you suggesting I wouldn't want to follow a book that is full of no white people? I'm confused. And there were many cultures represented in the Bible. Cultures that have or had many different people with different skin color. Again, I'm not really sure what you're getting at with that statement. Sorry.

It was just an aside, I find it curious that so many traditionalist white conservatives, many of them racist (I'm thinking of people I've seen at Trump rallies who claim to be Christians and are being explicitly racist), take their guidance for how to conduct themselves from an ancient book co-authored by non-white men. Sin is a created subjective concept, believing in it is a choice. I feel that it's more important to be kind.

The Bible was written to control people that lived thousands of years ago, I get that some people struggle to create their own moral framework and need to be told what to think, I think if you need that, it's just worth trying to be mindful about whether or not it's harming anyone.

"morality on television was much higher"

i am curious as to what you mean by "morality". as far as television goes, i think what makes this decade (i mean the 2010s) better than the fifties is television practically dying out. instead of getting things shoved down our throats we can look for content we actually want via streaming and internet.

"...overall love of country was higher. There weren't as many idiots burning and spitting on the flag, and patriotism was greater."

never mind the rioters and such for now because they make up a vocal minority of idiots that the media use for clickbait and views. regarding country love, couldn't the decrease in patriotism be due to the corruption in our politics and the evil business practices done under our noses?

"Little did anyone know was how much the great generation breeding a bunch of whiny, entitled brats who would later go on to destroy this country inside and out."

hang on... you talking about how the great generation raised the boomers? that's based. if you're talking about the millennials, keep in mind that the boomers raised the millennials, not the great generation.
