White people are lucky in some respects, I'll give you that. However, the legitimate protest has been bulldozed by the hate, violence, looting, and no leadership denunciations of this mayhem. Like they say, "your silence is deafening"...or how about, "silence is violence". Do you realize how many police have been killed during these protests? The violence is right there in front of everyone's eyes. There is a silent majority who wish to live with the police there to protect them from the bad people who inevitably rape, murder, steal, and don't have any regard for human life other than their own. These people will always exist, and I sure as heck would like there to be someone I can call to hopefully keep me safe. And police could stand to be gentler in their treatment of suspects, so I'm not claiming there aren't some bad police. I'm also not saying that some police are racist. However, what I'm saying is, you can find this kind of thing in every profession known to man.

Look dude, what you're saying is great, but all lives matter is a real movement made to make white people feel tragic and opressed, so associating yourself with it is a bad idea. It's a completly racist movement, and I'd like you to be aware of this before you start saying "all lives matter," everywhere, because people will assume you are a racist or an enabler. Again, your message is great, but it can easily be taken the wrong way, especially right now.

Last night, a "peaceful" BLM protest in Madison, WI included the removal of a Union general's statue - a general who fought against slavery and died doing so. They also damaged a bunch of public property and assaulted a Democrat state senator! Oh, and this was in retaliation for the cops arresting a black felon who entered a Capitol Square restaurant with a basball bat and a megaphone. The guy was threatening people who were there for a meal. This is just one of the many "worthy" causes that BLM stands for - abolishing police, sticking up for career criminals, and putting black people before all other people! This is NOT about equality. BLM wants special treatment for all black people. They are pushing for double standards everywhere, and many white-guilt-ridden, feeble-minded people are buying it hook, line, and sinker!

If you say "black lives matter" without also saying that "all lives matter" then you are in reality saying that black lives matter more than other lives. It makes no difference the explanation behind it or the often-heard denials. If you want equality then every life has to matter -- no matter the tone of their skin or the color of their uniform. If you are throwing bricks at a policeman, then that life does not matter to you. If you are burning down a business or looting from a store, then the life of that business person or that store owner does not matter to you. If you are beating up Macy's store employees or throwing fireworks at the homeless, those lives do not matter to you.

And if those people of color who do such things are not charged and punished for those crimes and get away with them because of their color, and you support that, then to you black lives *do* matter more than others. Discrimination is discrimination, prejudice is prejudice.

We might be able to sympathize with someone who acts out in understandable anger as a result of wrongs and injustices, but if we allow that to be an excuse for criminal behavior then that excuse will be adopted by anyone who wants to commit a crime regardless of their emotional state.

The word "equal" in the phrase "equal justice under the law" must not devolve into the "equal" of George Orwell, "some are more equal than others".
