Not gonna call out names, so I'll "User A" and "User B". I saw a few days ago User A replying to User B with an upvote meme (like kewlew does all the time), then the User B replied back with one to User A but you very clearly saw "0 ups" were given to User A. I thought that was BS. Some users get mad if you ask them to upvote comments, and lie and say they upvoted. Others claim you're an "upvote beggar."

Tried looking for that comment, way too many comments to dig through. But yeah, people who don’t upvote comments always irk me, so I always return the favor and don’t upvote them back.

I changed my tagline for a few hours to "No longer upvoting your comments if you don't upvote mine, ya get what ya f**kin' deserve!" but I was planning on not being active for a while so didn't really see a point in that. Probably won't be too active for a while, haven't been recently. Haven't upvoted anybody who doesn't upvote comments since.

Generally, it’s only the kids who do it (other than in the politics streams), who I usually don’t interact with anyway so it’s not a major issue for me.

There's adults too. But remember almost every top user upvoted comments in our day? Now there's lots of kids who are in there but don't upvote and I said on one of kewlew's other meme that they don't deserve to be on the leaderboard no matter how good their memes are. So many people are going to give to you but you won't return the favor, all you'll do is take. MemefordandSons had 0 comments probably because of no verified email address, but he upvotes comments and I think that's fantastic, I would let it slide if somebody's making no comments at all and only uses this the site to make memes, but even he upvotes comments. But then there's new popular users who are making thousands of comments and not giving any upvotes whatsoever.

Might be a good idea to assemble a new list of unspoken Imgflip rules. I did one before, might be a good idea to do a new list. Maybe we can have some converts? 🤷🏻‍♂️
