The anti-police protests and general hatred for police in general is going to hurt the people in poor, black communities the most. Police forces are going to lose good cops who decide to no longer put up with all the hate and disrespect they get for putting their lives on the line to protect the very people that express their hatred. We will not be able to recruit enough new cops to replace them. Those who don’t leave the force will be too afraid of repercussions to use force against dangerous criminals.
Middle class groups will end up arming he selves for protection and the rich will hire private security. But the low income neighborhoods will be overrun by gangs and criminals because few, if any, police will be willing to go into those neighborhoods.
