I am not blind, I realize that antifa are not the only terrorists taking advantage and fanning the flames. I am all for meeting them head on and crushing the lot of them, their causes are just excuses for violence and those that prey on others should be crushed.

The sad part in all of this is simple, if the peaceful protesters had refused to march after thugs started attacking everything, the message would have been heard and lives saved. No one cares about listening now.

I have three problems with the protests: one, they are taking away resources that are needed to protect neighborhoods, businesses and citizens homes. It is madness to think the thugs wouldn't be right next to them if the police were not there. Anyone on the streets now is providing cover, even if they do not want to. People are being murdered and they are helping.

Two, they are standing shoulder to shoulder and in a few days they will have spread covid everywhere to include their own families. In a few short weeks they have reversed the lock downs success.

Three, George Floyd's legacy is now hate, division and violence. I really do not think he deserved that.

If I could give stupid comment awards you would have won. No one I know except for you, supports the burning of minority homes, businesses, neighborhoods. People died, others will never recover from their injuries. Your soul is damaged, you should seek professional help.

What you are really doing is giving legitimacy to the people that just wreaked black homes, businesses, neighborhoods, which may never recover. People were murdered in the riots, nothing changed, none of this helped anyone. You are on the wrong side of this but you already know that.

Cops deserve support when they do their jobs properly without killing people.

If it takes things like additional training (including racial sensitivity training), firing officers who have received multiple complaints as Chauvin did, and paying all officers a higher salary to attract better candidates, so be it.

These things aren’t really that hard to do.

What is the issue is people like you that ignore black on black violence and wait for the opportunity to attack white officers for trying to help. Some good ideas here. But how is Los Angeles going to offer more pay for better officers and pay for better training when mayor cuts police budget by $150M?
