You're moving the goalposts. Are you working to stop our arrogance in possessing them? We're not alone in owning them, either.
We told Libya they could enjoy security if they gave up WMDs. Surprise! We lied and invaded. Gaddafi was a popular leader who gave his countrymen an extremely high standard of living to rival Scandinavian countries in respects. We then effectively by economic means seized the largest fresh water aquifer on the African continent, and a f***ng hell of a lot of oil out of the hands of the Libyan people and into the hands of our greedy transnational corporations.

No wonder years of Clinton, Bush, and Obama negotiations achieved nothing.
But what Trump DID in fact accomplish is what's called detente. It's where people get to know each other better and slowly start to ease tensions. It's not achieved overnight, and sometimes it takes years. But it IS the necessary first step.
I'd say the pundits ignore that basic diplomatic truth, but they don't. They lie and distort, because they're dancing to the tunes called by masters in the shadows whom you do not see.
The definition of "madmen" is a convenience constantly changing by the corporatocracy's media in ways you never see.
Learn to question what you are fed. Most of it these days is lies.
