I’ve pissed off a lot of the cons here on ImgFlip who think they run the place. I state my points forcefully but respectfully.

They’ve definitely hinted at deleting my streams and even banning my entire account

I’m not even that far-left, I‘m just not afraid to call them out on their bullshit

Most of the people I argue with would quickly pivot from defending their arguments to attacking me personally or laughing at me for trying to have a political debate (in the politics stream) and redirecting me to website where they swear they act like adults

I’m farther to the left, but it doesn’t matter. Calling them out on their ‘shit’ just means you are now the enemy.
If you’ve ever listened to InfoWars or Limbaugh you understand Right Wing propaganda and it’s underlying philosophy has always been about ‘enemy creation’
As disgusting as it is, Historically,hate has a brotherhood about it and brings people together. Nazi Germany by far the best example.
That’s why the Orange ones are so organized and attack in groups, or use a single comment, or just outright ostracize someone all the while employing ad hominem attacks to describe anything related to posts or comment in a method designed to create self doubt or insecurity
it’s not about memes , to them , it’s a war to continue the Trump Revolution
They could black ball everyone out of existence, but what fun is hate when theirs no one left to hate?

You do both of these, and indeed celebrate and defend insults, so the distinction is not that important

I've just started reading How Fascism Works by Jason Stanley. Very fascinating. I got it after hearing an interview with him. In it, he broke down why Trump attacks reporters like the one where he calls it "the chinese flu."

He does that to invite the racism charges so he can then turn around to his followers and say "look, those libtards are calling us racists. but that's where it came from, so is it racist to call it the chinese flu? It's not racists to call it mexican food."
