My actual reaction vs. the reaction they deserve. | The response I want to give: The response Trump supporters deserve: Those comments were racist, uncalled for, and indefensible. Yeah they have a lot of work to do

Democrats acknowledge when their politicians err — for the most part, Republicans don’t anymore.

Nixon sent a good example by resigning when caught red-handed and Reagan went on national TV to apologize for Iran-Contra.

I believe Bush Jr. at long last acknowledged the Iraq War was a terrible mistake, but it was far too late and a dollar short.

However, it’s hard to imagine Trump doing any of that.

His contempt for democracy is so great that it’s gotten to the point where if Trump loses in 2020 he may not concede and we may see actual riots.

I did not use to think that, but at some point over the last few months I think we’ve reached that point.

There is not much left to Trumpism anymore but a molten core of hate that believes a deep state coup is somehow thwarting his every move and which wants to imprison Obama and many others besides.

I believe that AG Barr is holding what’s left of America together. And since he’s a partisan hack (but hopefully not as completely and thoroughly cynical and contemptuous of democracy as Trump himself), that’s kind of frightening.

Actually I heard Joe Biden is a racist who needs to needs to read up on what the Democratic Party stands for.

I heard Donald Trump is a racist so I guess it doesn't matter.

Biden was promoting his favorable statistics among the African American population and their respective organizations. While that could certainly make him racist, I don't think that disqualifies him from the Presidency.

I never said Trump isn’t a racist I believe he is. But for the Democratic Party that has the metoo movement and is against racism, Biden for president makes them look hypocritical.

I was unaware the metoo movement was exclusive to the Democratic Party? After all, a couple of Democrat legislative stepped down at the height of it's popularity. How many Republicans did that? There are acceptable levels of racism. When you make it part of your legislation is when Democrats come under ire. After all, Biden was "defending" that he had done more good than bad when he was accused by Charlemagne for past legislation.

The democrats pushed the meetoo movement as part of their equality movement.

I don't think your argument is entirely convincing. Nor do I think it will be particularly convincing to the black community. I think the best you can hope for is that Trump is put on equal terms with Biden. Too bad Biden is miles ahead with experience and track record as a Senator and Vice President for decades over the three years Trump has spent as President.

Are you saying that because Trump is racist, and that Biden is racist that liberals and Democrats cannot vote for a candidate at all?

Ehh Biden is a little too much of a cabbage for my taste. And by that I mean his mind is a little too gone to be the person I want to run my country.

You my good sir like to twist my words and put other words in my mouth. I never said Dems can’t vote. I just think they should have supported someone who upheld their own policies. But by all means they can vote for whoever they want to. That’s one of my favorite things about America.

Again, this is a poor attempt at putting Biden and Trump on equal footing. Drawing out a response that Biden is racist, (and so is Trump) and that because Biden is not right in the noggin and gaffes often, (and so does Trump) is a poor attempt to make Trump look better because Biden "does it too" to some degree or less. It's the same with the "Muslim ban" and the "Deportation statistics" failing to put Trump and Obama on equal terms. It's not going to work.

If you think you're being treated unfairly, you're very welcome to step back and rethink your argument. It really didn't take much to twist your words. I haven't even had my cup of coffee today.

Look man I haven’t said anything about Trump. If you think I’m trying to make Trump look better then you’re wrong. I don’t care about Trump. I don’t care about Biden.

All I’m saying is that Biden looks super hypocritical.

If you’re going to put words in my mouth then there is no point to this conversation because you might as well be talking to yourself.
