Yes, it should be our personal choice. Their 'promote the common good' clause means they can notify us of the issues, but we are supposed to make the final decisions as individuals.
Or you could wear your mask until you get into the store then pull it down onto your neck area and try to walk around like that and film the supervisor and act like a moron whining about how masks are bad for you while the store supervisor is just some shmuck making $17/hr trying to put food on the table.
I'm referring to a Trump supporter in San Diego who was trying to enforce her own rules in Trader Joe's by wearing a mask to get in then taking it off once inside and making a big scene when they refused to ring her up because the cashiers stand less than 6 feet from customers. She filmed herself yelling at a supervisor and kept on even after a cashier offered to let her friend (who was wearing a mask) go through the cashier line for her. A few days after filming the video she admitted on FB she came down with a sore throat. Rumor has it she caught the coronavirus but no one has said for sure.
