The difference between Corona and Darwinism is we don’t have to evolve to beat Coronavirus.

But much like Darwinism we do have to learn.

We learn every day it’s important

well. If people don't use the brain we evolved, then, yeah, we'll evolve to beat COVID-19. Because all the stupid people will be dead. The smart ones live on to have kids.

Seasonal Flu death rate... 0.1% That's less than 1 %.
2009 H1N1 death rate...? 0.02%. Even lower than Seasonal Flu
1968 H3N2 death rate.? 0.03% Even lower than H1N1.

How's COVID-19 doing?

US Only COVID-19 death rate... 5.9%.

Yeah. Just shy of 6% of the people who get it die.

Again fear mongering. For the average human it is less than 1% chance of death. So your theory that all the dumb people will die is flawed. They will die but it won't be because of Corona. Majority rules and the majority is not in danger. Thus the lock down is unnecessary. If you are worried or at high risk then stay home and wear a mask. But don't force your fears on the rest of us.

The problem is variants are evolving that are more deadly. Here is an analogy: There is a terrorist group that isn't great at killing people. However if we don't take measures to deal with them they will have time to hone their strategies of killing people and actually become really dangerous.
