Just when I thought we were out of the woods re: hydroxycholoroquine nonsense, news breaks that Trump is taking it just in case | JUST WHEN I THOUGHT I WAS OUT THEY PULL ME BACK IN | image tagged in just when i thought i was out,covid-19,coronavirus,pandemic,al pacino, nonsense | made w/ Imgflip meme maker
I thought the hydroxycloroquine thing had gone away too, owing to the President's lack of public statements about it and the recent studies that have cast doubt on it

Then I read this today:

https://www.msn.com/en-us/health/medical/trump-says-hes-taking-malaria-drug-in-case-he-gets-virus/ar-BB14gGDF?ocid=spartanntp

Dear God

When Trumpies find out their Orange God is taking it anyway against the advice of his doctors, "just in case," there's going to be a stampede

This idiot has told 18,000+ lies documented by place, date, and time and he does so out of reflex. So, he COULD be lying about taking this stuff.

He could be.

But it's just so f**king dumb and the way that he blurted it out, it has to be real.

Everytime, every time, I think "oh, this guy is as dumb as it gets" he proves me wrong by being even dumber.

they're probably giving him a placebo since he can't read the bottle label instructions.

President Trump himself is taking Hydroxychloroquine to prevent himself from getting the Coronavirus. His physician has confirmed this. Even some Democrats endorse Hydroxychloroquine. Largely when the Coronavirus reached a nursing home in Texas, the employs passed out Hydroxychloroquine like M&Ms and nobody died. When you look at the actual science, it says Hydroxychloroquine works against the Coronavirus. It's been around since the mid 1900s.

Yeah, I know about that nursing home. It's The Resort in Houston.

And it's not science. They gave the drug to everyone. You can't do a study if everyone has taken the drug. One person did die.

According to this actual science, the drug resulted in a death rate of 27%. https://www.medrxiv.org/content/10.1101/2020.04.16.20065920v2

According to this French study, it had no effectivness and some patients developed heart problems (a known side effect of the drug). https://www.medrxiv.org/content/10.1101/2020.04.10.20060699v1.full.pdf

Also, here's the letter from Trumps doctor. You'll note that no where in it does it say the medicine has been prescribed nor does it say Trump is taking it. Only that they discussed the medicine.

So the French study was done on people who were at the point of dying. Ive heard of studies that show seat belts are ineffective against preventing injuries because they weren't put on before an accident. Ive also heard of one study showing bullet proof vests are ineffective against bullets because they only put on after the person was shot.

Here is a video debunking the Hydroxychloroquine controversy.

CNN isn't reliable. They deceptively edit videos, continuously spin a negative narrative against Trump, and purposefully misquote him. The letter could have been faked for all we know.

Fox News and CNN are both super unreliable.

Fox News doesn't deceptively edit videos. CNN, MSNBC, etc. do. The liberal outlets went crazy over charlettesvile saying "Trump said Neo-nazis and white supremacts are fine people" when actually he condemned them saying, "im not talking about Neo-nazis and white supremacists because they should be condemned totally."

Oh good lord! Leeches have been around for years and it was once thought they could cure diseases, too. Trump recently suggested that injecting bleach into our bodies would cure coronavirus as well. If Trump suggested that jumping into a live volcano would cure coronavirus, would you follow his advice?

What I meant was for 60 years we've known it is safe, one of the safest drugs out there.

When did Trump tell people to inject bleach??? Saying bleach can cure the Coronavirus and TELLING people to inject bleach are very different.

I'm not getting "If you have the Coronavirus you should inject bleach" vibes, it sounds to me like he's thinking out loud.
