Wow! Total proof every white guy can do that while every black guy would be shot for the same! It's irrefutable!

The Count | TWO TWO EXAMPLES AH AH AHHHH | image tagged in the count | made w/ Imgflip meme maker
It's a clear example of racism, I realise that nothing anyone said or showed you would likely be enough to convince you it exists.

Funnily enough, being able to argue that it doesn't exist is another example of white privilege.

Show me some proof besides they happened to be white and Aubrey happened to be black. Remember when 4 black teens in Chicago tortured a white retarded guy and broadcasted it on Facebook? They were filmed shouting 'F**k white people'. That's some evidence.

Is being able to argue that racism against whites doesn't exist because of institutionalized white privilege and power an example of black privilege?

Your example is of racial prejudice, not racism.

There has been no systemic oppression of white people.

'Is being able to argue that racism against whites doesn't exist because of institutionalized white privilege and power an example of black privilege?'

Some privilege that would be in comparison.

I see your 'remember when 4 black teens tortured a white disabled guy' and raise you over a hundred years of systemic oppression and racial hatred towards poc.
Lynching.
Signs banning poc from stores.
Landlords refusing to offer board.
Employers refusing to offer work.
Schools refusing to offer education.
Decades and decades of discrimination.

Do you genuinely think that has no impact today?

You think the effects of people being excluded and refused equality has no legacy?

I realise that it's more comfortable to just pretend that everything is fine and it's not an issue anymore, that in itself is a privilege people not experiencing racism get to have.

It's not about guilt, it's about acknowledgement and being an ally when it's wanted.

Pretending something doesn't exist doesn't make it go away.

"Your example is of racial prejudice, not racism.

We have found the dumb.

Racial prejudice is racism. Racism:
prejudice, discrimination, or antagonism directed against someone of a different race based on the belief that one's own race is superior.

Next you go on to claim there is on systematic oppression of white people, but you don't explain how minorities are systematically oppressed. What laws, specifically, oppress minorities?

I did not say 'on systematic oppression of white people', was it you that recently accused someone of having Kindergarten level reading comprehension?

You keep speaking in platitudes yet you cannot explicitly identify these "systems and institutions" which produce "disparate racial outcomes" and how these "disparate racial outcomes" manifest.

Can you do it?
1 up, 6y
Geez, how dare you ask him to back up his claims! That's your job!!!!!
1 up, 6y
Are you saying that you can't be bothered to do any research and want me to spoon-feed it to you?

That's what it sounds like.

Its your claim....its your responsibility

Correct...you said systemic, which means that said oppression exists through the entire system of the United States. Therefore, please list any law that oppresses minorities.
1 up, 6y
I also said 'no' not 'on'.

Systemic racism means that we have systems and institutions that produce racially disparate outcomes, regardless of the intentions of the people who work within them, for eg. the legal system.

I don't think it says that racism doesn't exist so no need for any convincing. Looks like it says that it's no longer a MAJOR FACTOR. BTW - I'm not white
1 up, 6y
Fair point. From what I've seen and heard and read, it seems very much like it is, even if it's often a subtle, pervasive undercurrent.

You're f**king blind, deaf and whatever else if you don't believe it was race related. Of all the joggers, they arm up and head after the black guy, even the 911 operator asked what had he done.

Now, be nice.

That's your assumption. And you could be right but I've yet to see any proof.

No, I was saying his view of the world (as being a Candadian) is skewed. His country has a completely different view of what Freedom is.

But i get your confusion, you're not very smart. You have a degree in liberal arts.

There absolutely is. He expressed the connection on previous postings. His views of Freedom are counter to the definition of freedom in the United States.

Like many murders. Yet the media will push any white on black crime as rayccccccisssss yet rarely the same in the opposite. There was a black guy that killed like 8 people in 2018 because they were white specifically, he confessed. Know his name? Me neither. Yet the reverse happens, remember the Charleston church shooter's name? Sure we do.

Of course not. Had a white person stole a black baby, tortured and burned it alive, you'd never hear the end of it in the media.

Yes, but just because they look rednecky, doesn't prove they acted on racism.

Besides, OP's meme said 'a major factor'. Even if those two acted out of racism, and maybe they did hopefully time will tell, that still doesn't prove it's a major factor. More is done today to help minorities then ever before, especially affirmative action in higher education, which actively discriminates against whites and Asians.

Bottom line, racism still plays a large part of societies ills, no matter who, tomorrow in Michigan, another back to work protest, lets see how many confederate flags and swastikas show up along with the rest of the vanilla isis crew.

I wonder if it'll be another leftist false flag. Like whoever larped as a Bernie supporter and brought one to his rally!

People will always hate. All people. It's unfortunate but part of the human condition. But a large part? I disagree.
