A lot of times it isn't how many users follow the stream, but about how popular the user is.
For example, Who_am_i l posts on streams that get an average of 15 upvotes for most users, but he'll get 30+. Raydog would get even more than that.
If you check the top upvoted memes each month when raydog was posting you'll see his memes on this stream go into the 100's or 200's when everyone else will get 20's and 30's.
