You do realize the military is taxpayer funded, right? That means the us military is a Socialist funded entity. Same as schools, police, fire dept, any and all state, federal, local, paid by public tax dollars and controlled by the government is the complete and utter definition of SOCIALISM.

The real story here isn't why are taxes on private jets too high: it's why do we lavish so much public money on them in the first place, in the form of tax breaks and bailouts.

If we're going to distort the free market through tax breaks and whatnot then we may as well do it in favor of people and businesses who need it rather than billionaires who don't really need any extra help to create those precious jobs.

As even someone like you would acknowledge, it's a lot easier to "create jobs" when you're given public money to do it.

So let's abolish those tax breaks and take private jet companies off the bailout teat, and then we'll find out what level of private jet ownership among C-suite executives is actually economically efficient.
