Lying about the unemployment rates on an approval website he created, saying "unemployment rates are at an all-time low", when they are actually the worst since The Great Depression. So I judge him by that and his other actions, good or bad, and not his profession.

The COVID-19 pandemic is unquestionably a problem, and reopening is simply not the way that we are going to solve anything. While it may seem extreme, it is vital that people take precautions to slow the spread of the virus. Just because it seems unnecessary to you because you have not been affected by the virus certainly does not mean that everyone should go out, and not because going outside is certain death. Going outside is fine. But then, once people think that going outside can't hurt them and that the virus is a fake, then people will start to not fear the virus, gathering in large places, allowing the virus to spread. And yes, the ad was recent because it was a 2020 reelection ad for Trump and Pence.

2020 Election Ads were started long before the panic... Even it it came after and touting the great job he'd done before the panic, it's still no foul... So again, you're spinning.

COVID-19 is a problem... Never said otherwise. But the panic and lockdowns are a MUCH BIGGER problem, that much is clear. Sheltering in place was a bad bad BAD move from the start and needs to be ended IMMEDIATELY. This isn't about ME, I've been able to continue working from home the entire time. This is 100% about what's best for this country and the population as a whole. The panic has made things far far worse than it should have been. Getting open immediately is the proper solution. There will be a minor spike, NOT caused by the reopening, but caused by the lockdown in the first place preventing the normal spread and defeat of the virus as we do all the time.
