1. November 17th, 2019: First reported case of man in China exhibiting COVID symptoms. They didn't even have a diagnosis for it then. They diagnosed it the flu or pneumonia. Patient Zero
2. December 10th, 2019: First case connected to the Wuhan wet market. Still not named COVID
3. December 21st, 2019: Still not named COVID, cluster of people in China admitted to hospital for Pneumonia of unknown origin
4. December 27th, 2019: Scientists in China finally recognize that this virus is similar to SARS coronavirus
5. December 31st, 2019: China and Taiwan both inform the WHO of a new virus which still had not been named. Taiwan suggested human to human transference.
6. December 31st, 2019: US Center for Disease Control is notified of 27 cases of weird pneumonia in Wuhan, China
7. January 1st, 2020: WHO still doesn't know what the causal agent is of the outbreak. Still not calling it COVID
8. January 3rd, 2020: China finally understands enough about the pathogen to name it COVID-19 or some variant of that
9. Also January 3rd, 2020: China formally notifies the United States about an infectious disease and says it is a big deal
10. January 4th, 2020: First suspected case of "Wuhan Mystery Virus" reported outside of China and Taiwan. 3 year old Chinese girl admitted to Singapore hospital
11. January 7th, 2020: China finally announces to the world about COVID-19
12. January 8th, 2020: South Korea announces first case of COVID-19 in their country
