I'm not Catholic but holy shit, this pope is a f**king fraud.

I'm Catholic, and yeah he's done a lot of things I don't like. He's all about globalism, climate change, and illegal immigration instead of actual Catholic teaching. He allowed pagan idols on the altar of a cathedral last year, then apologized to the AMAZONS when a faithful Catholic chucked them in a river. He "changed" the Church's teaching on the death penalty (Church teaching never changes so I'm not sure where he got the idea he's allowed to do that). He's congratulated Joe Biden, an extremely fake Catholic, on his "win." Just like Joe, Hitler was a baptized Catholic who supported genocide. Only difference is the genocide Joe supports has killed about 6 times more people than Hitler's so far. Sadly, I wasn't surprised when I heard about this story. Things like this are becoming normal for him. Also more recently, he said we need to make a civil union law for gay couples, and this time people are finally seeing him for who he is. That was probably his most blatant anti-Catholic statement yet. We all pray for his conversion

Do you think he had some kind of dirt on the church or Benedict where he caused Benedict to step down? I thought Pope Benedict was going to pass after a couple weeks after the transition.

I'm not really sure, but I definitely expected him to pass sooner too. I've heard lots of theories, some crazier than others, about how that all went down and why

Yeah it's all kind of suspicious. Even a lot of moderate Catholics who had previously supported him simply because he was pope are now condemning much of what he says.

I don't know much about this yet, but I heard Dominion voting systems might have been involved in his election too, which raises more questions

God I hope that last part was a joke considering the collage of cardinals still uses the traditional hand written papers which are burned after counted like they have since their conception. Then again with all the red hat rino Qanaoners these days it's hard to tell what's meant to be a joke and what's part of the shared delusion.

There was one of these scandal things not too long ago that his response irked me, but otherwise, compared to the last two yaggos...

What didn't you like about the last two popes as opposed to Francis? They had their flaws, but they certainly weren't doing anything like this.

Yeah exactly. Helping people continue a life of grave sin is a terrible mistake, especially for a pope. Christ said, "Go and sin no more," not, "here's some cash keep it up."

I'm not sure the people that donated to the Vatican expected their money to go there, unless it was his own funds, which I doubt.

Donate at mass their whole life, then when they die the Church wants $25 for a 'Mass Card' which entitles the deceases to get their named mentioned at the end of mass with the 3 - 5 others that passed that week.

They are closing churches and schools round here, especially in poorer immigrant areas, stupid because that's where more of their parishioners are, as well as their future as the more affluent move to the burbs or pass away, being older.

That ain't too cool.

They claim they're too expensive to run with all that declining membership in the areas they're NOT closing them (what happened to all them donations we've been giving?), but everyone knows it's on account of all the lawsuits busting the Church's piggy bank.
