Not necessarily. I mentioned worldometers in another response to you. There have been a lot of instances where the COvid numbers went down as they were corrected. There has been a serious debate in the medical community that normally someone in hospice dying from kidney failure would have that listed as cause of death even though as they weakened they invariably caught pneumonia. The standard this time changed so that any one who died and tested positive for COVID 19 were listed as covid deaths. The concern is that medical professionals are not going to have reliable numbers to fight against this accurately. After the big dust up settles down, the death numbers are going to adjust down, not to 8,000- but having some fun with Barney Fife humor. The best humor always has an element of truth.
