Libertarianism is about having all the liberties you want as long as they don't harm others or remove their liberties. They are for no taxes, small government, no laws criminalizing anything other than taking others freedoms such as murder, theft, assault, that kind of thing. Laws that regulate speeds on highways are bad to libertarians, but laws about reckless driving are ok.

You don't seem to understand. The things I pointed out WERE the views of the libertarian party until abut 10 years ago or so. Like I said they've been taken over no longer represent the actual libertarian people, much like the democrat party has been taken over by leftists and no longer actually represent real liberal US citizens.

I do understand. Their goals have not changed simply because even you realize they are stupid and unworkable - especially in face of a platform. Their platform of deregulation, closing government agencies, removing civil rights have not changed.

Just ask Justin Amash and William Weld - two lifetime Republicans who can shift between libertarian and republican without changing a thing in their platform.

I've proven it hasn't - their platform still calls for the closure of all government functions not specifically in the constitution -STILL. Their leaders are notable republicans -STILL.
