I am disappointed in this community sometimes

The Smash community is so drunk sometimes. I mean, I wanted Goku in Smash as a joke, and I like Sonic games as much as the next person, but Shadow is basically Sonic. The ultimate lifeform even said it himself to Sonic in Sonic X: "You and I are very much alike."

Yeah. I'd be down with more Sonic the Hedgehog playable characters myself, I just personally think Shadow would make more sense as an echo fighter. Even if one or two of the moves is different from Sonic's, such as chaos blast instead of homing attack. I mean, Roy and Chrom have one or two completely different moves to each other to each other and Chrom is still Roy's echo??

my problem with shadow being a clone is that shadow can have a new moveset, i do agree it makes more sense then tails, but no one can really echo sonic without it feeling off, if i choose a character i would want metal sonic he would have a really cool moveset, i do not want metal as a echo, i just feel if they add another sonic character they should be original

The other thing is you would still have do deal with where Knuckles goes plus in Super Smash Flash 2, Tails isn't an echo character with a completely different move set then Sonic.
