China mobile has lost 8.1 million customers from their total over Jan/Feb. You can go to their website and see numbers because they are a US listed stock. They had 12.6 million customers disappear from their 4g customer base but some of these would have gone to 5g. This still leaves the 8.1 million that disappeared.
There are 2 other smaller players in the market but I haven't gone to see what their numbers are or if their numbers even available. The reports of 20 million customers lost came after the 8.1 million lost was first found out. Given the late entry of that information and given the size of the 2 smaller companies. I doubt that they could possibly be adding 12 million or more customers as China Mobile has 942 million accounts.
Remember, that when trying to interpret anything from the numbers we need to know more information than is represented in the Account losses. Accounts lost does not necessarily equate to individual people having died. As more than 1 account could have been held by any one of the 942 million accounts and many may have shut off multiple services because they weren't doing say business activities.

In the end something is a miss with the chinese statistics and all these little anomalies will eventually be able to highlight and expose the inaccuracies in their stats for disease infection and death. Never trust CHICOMMS.!

the link to China mobile website if anyone wants to see,

I wonder if some of them couldn't pay their phone bills due to the lockdown?

Yeah me too.

I was watching a guy i dont really like called Serpentza on youtube and he has lived there for many years and he said the phone line cost is next to nothing. Because of course it's the main tracking tool of the ChiComms this helps ensure everyone has one working.
So yes while 100% likely some would have disconnected because of no incomes to pay, the cost isn't high and they where in a lockdown so you would probably be more reliant on a phone working.
And I would still think if you ran extra lines for a business that didn't require the number to be called back too then these might just as well be cancelled. So yes still hard to read into what it all means.

I mentioned to a few others on here about the air quality in China during the lockdowns and downturn of manufacturing. Are you familiar with what i'm talking?

There's a new article that 21 million phone subscriptions stopped. But China has a migrant workforce of 163 to 260 million people. The poorest would be the first to drop out even if it is cheap.

Regarding air pollution, could very well be many in industrial areas in China already have respiratory problems from factory smoke and this winter the CV hit hard.

A doc in Italy's Health Ministry said hospitals are listing comorbidity deaths as "covid deaths" without any proof.

Also, if you google hospitals being overrun with patients during flu season, you will find it happens frequently all over the world, including for the past 3 years, including this January in USA!

Yes a large migrant group has to be a contributing factor in the totals and for reasons like no income would make sense.
Yes I heard they are calling anything respiratory a covid death.
And yes also to hospitals being pushed to limits in the last few years as the last few have been some of the highest incidence of flu death and hospitalization recorded.

However in regard to the air polution. Yes definitely not good for anyone with respiratory issues at anytime.
What I was referring to was they have had sulphur dioxide levels which at anytime are high. But at the peak of the economic shutdown during the peak of the pandemic have been off the scale. Normally it's elevated because they dont operate scouring equipment on the coal power stations but the So2 (sulphur dioxide) is also released when you burn bodies. And this is seen as an indicator of an exceptionally large number of peoples being cremated.
I'm thinking that the experts calculation of between 10 and 20 times the number of people have died in China than stated as being easily achieved

Some other interesting things to consider:

Roughly 45 to 50 thousand people die each day in China. Some UCLA Berkeley researchers think 4,400 people die a day there from air pollution.

Also regarding cellular use in China some people are issued work devices which must be turned in when work is terminated, and there are things called click farms which have many phones and you can pay them for clicks and downloads. Also the infamous scammers there have many phones.

Regarding cremation, considering it takes a full day to cremate a body I doubt they would have sufficient facilities to cremate 20 million people in a few months. However, rough projection from one UK org says they cremate 5.5 million people annually.

So i would say piecing everything we can know so far that we both have some doubts that anything like the number stated in meme is possible.

One other thing, I only heard and do not have any reference to. Was that the authorities had placed an order for 30000 portable cremation units in January or about the time they where assembling the prefab hospital in Wuhan. Dont know what portable means other than must be towable I guess.
The cremation of people always seems to be exagerated when the realities of cremation are applied to the realities of stated numbers, at least in historical references to the act. If you know what I mean.

It's still very interesting and will have to keep on it. There's a propaganda war going on as a part of this trade war as well. Yes I catch your drift about historical references.

"Having died" not had died
And I probably wont be shocked to hear 100 times the dead. But once again we will probably only get an accurate idea once the rest of the world gets infected. Thanks chicomms.
