Well we don't have to blame him. It just seems that if he'd kept his trap shut about things he knows nothing about, one more American would be alive today. I'm a frickin biochemist but I'd never recommend a drug for medical treatment beyond aspirin or Advil. I'm not an MD and he is an idiot.

Tut tut tut. Acetaminophen! Never take Aspirin for a fever! It’s a blood thinner and can cause you to bleed internally. Aspirin is good if you had a heart attack to prevent clotting. Advil is for inflammation or muscle pains also useless for fevers. Tylenol is your best bet.

My statement was not a recommendation of treatment for Coronavirus. Just an example of drugs that a regular person could recommend for certain medical situations.

You want to believe it's a difference in media support and, true, Trump has certainly not made many friends there. But based simply on what each has said and done, Trump is hyping and Cuomo is trying something.

So he likes to use hyperbole. We know the media will downplay everything he says so what are you worried about. Check back in a few weeks after the trails. If it turns out to be a success are you going to still say Trump was a fool for suggesting it?

4) what I believe is that when leaders (that at least some people look up to) make exaggerating statements about something's value, some of those people will do foolish things. a big part of leadership is thinking before speaking. thinking about the impact your words might have over a broad spectrum of listeners. I believe that the greatest leaders do a lot more thinking than speaking. so when they speak, their words are well chosen for their expected impact.
