So very true. I live in a very rural, and sparsely populated area. There are no police around for many miles. For somebody visiting the area, that doesn't know otherwise, we all look like normal salt of the earth people. But trust me... For each one that you meet, there is a pistol hidden on them somewhere for self-defense of all kinds of varmints, whether they have 2 legs or 4. Mine's a Kimber 1911, that's kept cocked, locked, and ready to rock at all times. But I hope I never have to draw it on a human.
