Doctors and lawyers work/scam the same way, and it's why they get paid so much:
"I've got good news & bad news.
The good news is, you're gonna die.
The bad news is, you're gonna have to pay me to prevent it"
It costs a REAL attorney nothing but air and time (which are free), transport and a few calories to provide legal assistance to a client in a court of law. But the sevice ain't exactly free now, is it?
It could be argued that profit is theft, except the buyer has the option of moving on and not buying it.
