Personal note- my college age son had all the symptoms but couldn't get tested because he wasn't in a risk group; in fact the local health district told him he could re-enter society 24 hours after his last symptom-free day (he works in a grocery store). A brother-in-law suffering from the flu waited until he was coughing up blood before going to the ER- where he was diagnosed with COVID19 but not tested because he wasn't a particular risk group. His wife, who shows no symptoms, was denied time off because she wasn't sick and her husband hadn't been tested positive- she works in a nursing home!

I'm in the same group as you describe. Son tested neg for the flu and now has pneumonia. Still can't get tested and with the medication given, still have a fever.

Strange, Trump ordered free testing in all states, why isn't the CDC doing its job?

I think State Health Departments are rationing the test kits

They're all lying to us.

Its not the CDC's job to perform the testing but rather to certify the testing labs and testing procedure.
