You believed it. The rest of us are not so easily fooled.

I think you misunderstand. It's easy to believe because it's something he /would/ say. Not because they follow fake news, but because they listen to the President.

And because he's so full of shit and says this on a daily basis, it's easier to believe that this single nugget of lie could slip past.

It's harder to fool you because, well, you don't want to believe he /could/ say such a thing. You just so happen to be right this time. Which, in the interest of truth, is good to know he's not stupid enough to say that but has been stupid enough to say far far worse.

You believed it because you're gullible and desperately wanted it to be true.

I didn't believe it because it was outlandish.

And yet, you're a Trump supporter.

That smells of gullibility to me.

I'm not the one defending a fake quote.

I just said, thank you for using Snopes. Had you not posted, I would've said the quote was fake but you beat me to it. The people you're conversing with now, including myself, are questioning if your devotion to the Truth is only when it's convenient for your political bias and it IS a good argument. Your defense is to, naturally, attack their character back since they're attacking yours.

All you had to say was, "Yes, I can see your point of view because Trump has said outlandish things. But he didn't say this and I would appreciate it if you not spread false information on the internet." But if you had said something like that, you probably would've come off as weak, passive, or worse a liberal. Of course, jokes on you, you sound like a whiny liberal either way.

Trump is right. There IS fake news. He just happens to only care about it when it's negative towards him. So do his supporters. They don't care about Fake News. They only care about defending Trump.

He is misquoted and fake quoted so often, I doubt you know what he actually says.

I spend far too much time correcting this nonsense here and other social media outlets.

"He is misquoted and fake quoted so often, I doubt you know what he actually says."

So, is AOC. Are you subscribed to her like I am to Trump?

I follow both his Twitter accounts, Fox News, browse Conservative News Media often. So, I concur with your assessment that social media outlets like those do get it wrong. Trump more so than others.

You're an idiot if you believe this. It's a very old joke.
