When we start testing, the number of infections will go way up but the deaths will stay the same. It'll level out around 0.01% death rate.

Best healthcare in the world! Italy is at 7%.

That's the flu rate, COVID-19 is 3.4%.

COVID-19 isn't known overall. It changes based on country and type of health care combined with actual tests being given (an unknown). Italy, for instance is around 7% and climbing.

I unfortunately think that cases in the US will rise exponentially, especially if we don't take social distancing seriously, like most of Europe is doing.

Unbelievably, eyes shut is making a valid point. Right now all our numbers are artificially suppressed due to a lack of testing. They all will go up once testing begins in earnest.
