Yes I am, but my motivation may not be what you expect.
Since, many countries are gonna lock themselves up, limit work, close big events, ask to limit use of restaurants, and now with Trump even banning travel from the EU to the US, the entire economic system is being destroyed, and that will have its consequences, for the entire world economy. Including the US and the EU. Stock markets are collapsing as a result of all this. How much longer can we keep destroying the entire world economy due to this virus?
I hate money, and I hate it when money is the prime concern in matters like these, but the Dutch proverb "De genezing is erger dan de kwaal" (lit. "The cure is worse than the disease") is more and more starting to apply here. Getting over the worst the virus can cause might happen in a few weeks or only a few months in the extreme worst case scenario. But the economic damage can be by far more severe in the longer term...
I know, some people are at higher risk of dying now (which an economic disaster may not cause that easily... at least not directly), but some of the measures taken now also threaten human life. Medical specialists are under stricter rules, and what if I get a heart attack now and there are not enough doctors to save my life due to the Corona measures? And what if I'd get cancer now and I cannot get my treatment due to this crisis? We are slowly heading that way now... And if people die due to the corona crisis but where not killed by the virus itself, due to all this precautions, then we got a story nobody can properly justify.
The virus itself is actually the least of my concerns.... Just saying.
