Is fear for suffering really worse than suffering itself?

You definitely suffer more if you're both afraid and sick... Panicking never achieves anything useful so I just stay calm. When it hits me it hits me and I'll go from there.

Well, I worry about being burned to death but not like I'd worry about it if I actually was burning to death. But I get the point. Some people suffer most under expectations.

Yeah, I always get the creeps when I see a railway crossing (but maybe that's be cause I've been hit to death by a train in a nightmare, and precisely on the moment I was getting killed in my dream I woke up, funny, eh? But I've feared these crossings ever since). Did something happen that the idea of getting burned to death strikes you like that, like that night me struck me with railways crossings?

Funny, I've had alot of dreams where airplanes crash around me, though I don't necessarily fear flying.

I'm not sure if burning to death is the worst way to go. If you are "lucky" the smoke will already make you lose conscienceless, and then you won't notice the fire burning you.

I have no idea. But, I do know that I went through that myself and personally I think the suffering is worse. But anyone could suffer and the suffering is not as bad as he/she think. That was one of the hardest question I had ever answer, but it was a good logical one to think about.
