yeeaahh...The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has released their estimates for the influenza season from October 1, 2019 and February 29, 2020. During that period, an estimated 34 to 49 million people have been sickened with the flu, with 350,000 to 620,000 hospitalized. The estimated deaths from the flu is between 20,000 and 52,000 people.

This does not include COVID-19/ Coronavirus deaths...

As I pointed out in a meme I posted last week, people went out of their ways to avoid the flu vaccination that we know reduces sickness and death from that source. If we had a Corona vaccine right now, they would refuse to take it and would encourage others to avoid vaccination.

Yet, after all that, you still post a meme blaming Trump and the Republicans...

I hold people responsible for what they do. No matter who they are. Is it your position that the Trump administration and Republicans are not arguing before the Supreme Court to cancel aspects of Obamacare? If so, I am not "blaming." I am just calling it as it is.

Not at all. They are doing exactly that. The American people voted for him to do just that. Obamacare has been an abject failure.

Three million more American people voted for Hillary Clinton than Donald Trump. He is doing what political manipulators got him through the Electoral College process want him to do. He does not have any kind of mandate. According to a study of mortality in states that expanded Medicaid, under Obamacare and those that didn't, significant positive and negative outcomes suggest your statement that the program has been an "abject failure" is either misinformed or a lie. Some 19,200 people are alive today because of care they received under Obamacare related Medicaid expansion. And, over 15,000 premature deaths were recorded among similar citizens in states that chose to not expand. I would bet the 19,200 people whose lives were prolonged, and their families and friends would tell you to "Shut the duck up!"

Back to that nonsense. The Electoral College is how we elect Presidents in this country for more than 150 years. She knew the rules of the game when she got in. Trump beat her, fair and square. Hell, even after she colluded with Russia, she couldn't win the election. She is and was a bad candidate from the jump.

I can't imagine being so cavalier about the possibility that millions of vulnerable people who cannot afford health care may lose theirs. Kudos for your compassionless composure.

ObamaCare is not healthcare...it is a health insurance program.

Also, I bet you didn't care when ObamaCare was instituted that millions of Americans were forced off their insurance as their plans were cancelled as a result of the legislation.

The policies that were cancelled were junk policies that would be of little value to patients. And, Obamacare is a catchall phrase that almost everyone understands means the law, programs, insurance programs and care that fall under its umbrella. Take away the insurance, without replacing it, and you take away healthcare.

Unlike the ObamaCare policies, which were FORCED UPON THEM by law, and if they didn't buy the far more expensive ObamaCare policy they were fined. ObamaCare was an idea that was good people had to be forced to buy into it or be threatened with fines.

Do any of you Trump trolls realize that the lack of leadership shown by this political attack on health care is part of why the Stock Market is showing a lack of trust that Trump will manage this crisis in ways that mitigate damage to the economy? The German Stock Market, French Stock Market, Italian Stock Market, are all seeing an increase in volatility as a result of the Coronavirus.

Using your logic, the stock markets in those countries are showing a lack of trust that their elected or appointed leaders will manage this crisis in ways that mitigate damage to the economy.

My children are adults. One works as the Veteran Education officer at a major University. Another works in law enforcement. The third is an administrator in a state prison. I am very proud of them. You would not say anything about them in my presence and keep all of your teeth.
