The only reason why I say "soccer" is to make sure no confusion with American Football (which is in the US just called Football, while they play it with their hands.... makes sense, eh?) can be there.... In my own language (Dutch) it's called "voetbal" ... "voet" = "foot" and "bal" = "ball" .... And in the UK it's also just football. It's just the US that is a bit of a strange factor here.
