Quite apart from anything else, Marxists firmly believe that capitalism is destroyed by its own machinations. They don't believe it happens by a piecewise bait and switch - they predict that it becomes obvious to us all that capitalism has failed by its own hand. So, yes, I confidently say that Kruschev wouldn't have said that, and Reagan made it up. That's really pretty clear.
