Past, present or future?

Back then we had:
- Computers that didn't crash all the time, and if they did, you immediately knew why
- Games that were made for gameplay value and not for getting money out of endless DLCs
- Music in the charts was made for musical purposes. Not to fill the wallets of record labels.
- Some of my childhood "heroes" would still be alive
- "Trump" still referred to card games only
- No Facebook

I like that, especially the last 2. I’m a huge Trump fan but hate what has happened in our country and Facebook—well, that’s something else!!

I never made it a secret that I am not fond of how Trump tries to run the U.S. like it were a commercial business company, but I don't wanna elaborate on that one, this was simply a joke, since "Trump" is also a term in several card games... Games I play a lot myself, although I then use the Dutch term "troef" as I am Dutch myself and my card friends are too. And Facebook, well, I guess we all know what a catastrophe that is.

This one! I’m an optimist, I think right now is the best time to be alive.

The internet is pretty amazing, allowing us to experience any content from any decade at any time.

For example, I think music from past decades (60s to 90s especially) was higher quality, and I don’t really listen to 95% of the crap coming out today.

But with the internet, you don’t have to! You can listen to anything you want.

I do also have nostalgia for the 2000’s, the decade I went to high school. I kind of wish I could go back and re-live those years with the wisdom I’ve gained today — don’t we all?

reason two: tune to a radio channel and listen to "i gotta feeling" without it being mentioned as a "classic"
