Not me, but I have a story I can share. I took a standardized test once and the guy that sat next to me came in with a drinking straw in his mouth. I thought nothing of it, I've seen lots of people take their straw as a "souvenir" from their cup when they get done and just sort of hold it in their mouth like a toothpick or something, so no big deal. You know what IS a big deal though? The sound of someone loudly chewing on a straw while trying to concentrate on a very difficult 8 hour test. This guy had a nervous habit, and the more stressed he got, the harder and louder he chewed. And he knew this going in, because I soon noticed that it wasn't just the one straw, he had brought 2 or 3 spares in with him...you know, just in case...and laid them on the edge of his table. I saw a dude eat 3 straws that day, no exaggeration.
And that is the reason I now bring ear plugs to all standardized tests I will ever take, which is hopefully never again but who knows.
