Whoa, hold your horses there... I just read a comment posted to an online article that absolutely blamed Trump for the Iowa fiasco.

Let's give the snowflakes on the left a moment or two to get their talking points organized, before we give them credit for not trying to blame Trump for their screw-up. After all... #orangemanbad.

Oh yeah, libturds never take responsibility for anything. They would rather blame everybody.

I just took responsibility for Democrats below: check it out!

It’s rare to see any side doing this

Meanwhile I’ll be waiting patiently for Republicans to admit they were wrong about Trump... probably will take a whole decade or more, like the eventual realization by most of the GOP that invading Iraq was a mistake.

You took responsibility for wha?

He challenged me to not be a libturd and take responsibility, so I did

In reality, I don’t live in Iowa and had nothing to do with this debacle

If I had my druthers, we’d elections the old fashioned way with paper ballots, since these electronic voting systems always seem to malfunction and they’re open to hacking

It’s pretty shocking we struggle with this basic aspect of democracy...

But you are not in a position to take responsibility for a political party, regardless of an idiotic troll calling you a bad name.

Electronic voting is all about money. Like the machines they used in NY till recently, old, big crank when you were done. Something go wrong, a screwdriver will fix it. Simple.
Meanwhile, companies making new ones ain't selling any. So grease a few palms, and they buy this crap where tons goes wrong shutting down the system.
Same thing with parking meters and subway turnstyles. Change or tokens, mechanical, no electricity. Now it's machines wasting paper and electricity. Idiots.

You mean like Donald Trump who didn’t support the war? Or Hillary Clinton who VOTED for it?

You won’t ever hear us admit we were wrong about Trump because we aren’t wrong about him YOU are.

F**k off

Indeed: a little-appreciated reason Trump beat neoconservative candidates like Jeb Bush in ‘16 was because of Trump’s anti-war stance

And, arguably, part of why Trump then beat Clinton in the ‘16 general. It’s certainly the main reason I didn’t support Clinton in either the primaries or the general election.

You’re wrong about Trump. The House Report was plenty damning on its own, but because of the stonewalling we’ll have to wait on the whole picture of what happened in Ukraine to emerge in time.

This will happen when the blocked docs under subpoena get instantly released under the next Democratic President, and, correspondingly, withdrawal of executive privilege protections from those key Trump Administration witnesses

Unless we happen to have an exceedingly forgiving next Democratic President. But I doubt that, given the shamelessness of this impeachment “trial.”

You going to be waiting a long time...and not just because you have a long time to wait for a Dem President.

Bye!

On-point.

"The country is now 20 years into a disastrous techno-political spiral, in which the 2000 presidential election disaster led not to a recommitment to proven, verifiable voting methods like marked paper ballots, but to an endless and foolish quest for salvation through better computerization. The result is that each new election occurs as a one-take, high-stakes beta test, involving an ever-changing kludged-together patchwork of variously obsolescing and/or untried technologies, largely operated by confused senior citizen volunteers, to accomplish a task that could easily be done with analog technology. "

Yeah totally agree, paper is the only way with registration lists at every polling station. You hold the paper for say 7 years after results are finalised and you retake an election if any paper is lost.
The ballot should be considered sacred and never allowed to be out of sight of seperate election officials until counting is completed.
Slower for results but guaranteed that the resullts can be re-verified if any party believes miscount or close results has occurred. It creates additional storage costs but maintains vote integrity and also allows comparison to registered voter numbers. No double votes and dead voters cannot vote because they are removed once death registered.

Slate??? LOL

You can’t blame your own caucus on Trump and the GOP, moron. Take responsibility for something for a change.

I literally said the opposite of that in my OP meme

Let me be even more specific: This appears to have been the fault of a hastily-designed app made by a company that was not properly vetted by the Iowa Democratic Party

And this debacle also brought renewed attention to downsides in the caucus process itself, which seems more and more anachronistic every election cycle

Much more could be said about this, but this will do for now. Happy?

See: I took responsibility on behalf of Democrats for this. Not that hard!

Now you do Trump!
