In the real world, Defendants don’t get to block you from collecting evidence or taking depositions of firsthand witnesses

Dems got as far as they could without resorting to litigation over executive privilege that could taken months and months

It is amusing though to hear Republicans arguing now that they would have preferred that the impeachment hearings drag on through summer or until the 2020 election or beyond, when they about lost it when Nancy Pelosi delayed handing over the Articles for a couple days over Christmas break

I am just glad this was done as fast as possible. Now Congress can get back to not doing the work of the people and the Dems can come up with their next hoax/sham/conspiracy in waiting.
