If Republicans want to impeach the next Democratic President “on Day 1” as they’ve threatened to do, be my guests.

If the House has the votes, they can impeach. Pretty much.

But the problem with an impeachment “on Day 1” is that the President hasn’t actually done anything yet other than move into the Oval Office and maybe undoing some previous Executive Orders.

So a Day 1 impeachment would just be Republicans being more foolish and insane than usual
